Follow these steps to configure a service and seamlessly transfer related alert data from CloudWatch.
Squadcast will process the information and create incidents based on your preferences.
Navigate to Services -> Service Overview -> select or search for your Service. Expand the accordion -> In the Alert Sources section, click Add.
2. Select Oracle Cloud infrastructure. Copy the displayed Webhook URL to configure it within Oracle Cloud infrastructure. Finish by clicking Add Alert Source -> Done.
Important:
When an alert source turns Active, it’ll show up under Configured Alert Sources. You can either generate a test alert from the integration or wait for a real-time alert to be generated by the Alert Source. An Alert Source is active if there is a recorded incident via that Alert Source for the Service.
Now log in to your Oracle Cloud Infrastructure account.
Click on any of your instances and select Notifications.
Click on Create Notification
Choose the template selection for the type of alert and define the alert, choose Create new topic from Topic and subscription and define the Copmartment and Topic name. Once done click on Create notification.
Your Oracle Cloud Infrastructire Integration is now good to go!
Whenever an Alarm moves to OK state inside Oracle Cloud the corresponding incident will automatically be resolved in Squadcast.
