# Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Follow these steps to configure a service and seamlessly transfer related alert data from CloudWatch.

Squadcast will process the information and create incidents based on your preferences.

## Using Oracle Cloud infrastructure as an Alert Source

1. Navigate to **Services** -> **Service Overview** -> select or search for your Service. Expand the accordion -> In the Alert Sources section, click **Add**.

2\. Select **Oracle Cloud infrastructure**. Copy the displayed **Webhook URL** to [<mark style="color:blue;">configure</mark>](#create-a-squadcast-webhook-in-Oracle-cloud-infrastructure) it within **Oracle Cloud infrastructure.** Finish by clicking **Add Alert Source** -> **Done**.

{% hint style="warning" %} <mark style="color:orange;">**Important**</mark>**:**

When an alert source turns <mark style="color:green;">Active</mark>, it’ll show up under Configured Alert Sources. You can either generate a test alert from the integration or wait for a real-time alert to be generated by the Alert Source.\
\
An Alert Source is <mark style="color:green;">active</mark> if there is a recorded incident via that Alert Source for the Service.

## Create a Squadcast Webhook in Oracle cloud infrastrcuture

1. Now log in to your Oracle Cloud Infrastructure account.

2. Click on any of your instances and select **Notifications**.

3. Click on **Create Notification**

4. Choose the template selection for the type of alert and define the alert, choose **Create new topic** from Topic and subscription and define the Copmartment and Topic name. Once done click on **Create notification**.

5. From the **Notifications** section of the instance click on the topic we have just created. Your Oracle Cloud Infrastructire Integration is now good to go!

* Whenever an Alarm moves to OK state inside Oracle Cloud the corresponding incident will **automatically be resolved** in Squadcast.
