Databricks is an industry-leading, cloud-based data engineering tool used for processing and transforming massive quantities of data and exploring the data through machine learning models.
Route detailed alerts from Databricks to the right users in Squadcast.
Navigate to Services -> Service Overview -> select or search for your Service. Expand the accordion -> In the Alert Sources section, click Add.
2. Select Databricks. Copy the displayed Webhook URL to configure it within Elecard Boro. Finish by clicking Add Alert Source -> Done.
Important:
When an alert source turns Active, it’ll show up under Configured Alert Sources. You can either generate a test alert from the integration or wait for a real-time alert to be generated by the Alert Source. An Alert Source is active if there is a recorded incident via that Alert Source for the Service.
(1) Login to your Databricks dashboard. Click your username in the top bar of the workspace and select Settings from the dropdown.
(2) In the Workspace admin section, click the Notifications tab. Click the Manage button.
(3) Click +Add destination. Select the destination type as Webhook.
(4) Add a name to the Webhook and paste the URL copied earlier inside the URL section. Click Create.
That's it, you are good to go! You can set up notifications to be sent on runs of a job and individual job tasks, and you can set up notifications to be delivered to the Squadcast webhook. Your Databricks integration is now complete. Whenever Databricks fires an alert, an incident will be created in Squadcast for it.
