# Hydrozen

[Hydrozen](https://hydrozen.io/) is a tool that helps users track uptime for your websites, Heartbeats, API's, servers and ports availability with ease. Keep track of your Cron jobs and make sure they are actually running.

Route detailed alerts from Hydrozen to the right users in Squadcast.

### Using Hydrozen as an Alert Source

1. Navigate to **Services** -> **Service Overview** -> select or search for your Service. Expand the accordion -> In the Alert Sources section, click **Add**.

2\. Select **Hydrozen.** Copy the displayed **Webhook URL** to [configure](#create-a-squadcast-webhook-alert-in-hydrozen) it within **Hydrozen.** Finish by clicking **Add Alert Source** -> **Done.**

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:**

When an alert source turns Active, it’ll show up under Configured Alert Sources, you can either generate a test alert from the integration or wait for a real-time alert to be generated by the Alert Source. An Alert Source is active if there is a recorded incident via that Alert Source for the Service.
{% endhint %}

## Create a Squadcast Webhook Alert in Hydrozen

**(1)** Login to your Hydrozen.io dashboard. Under the **Notification handlers** tab, click on **Create notification handler**

**(2)** Now, put in the **Name** and select **Squadcast** as **Notification type**. Paste the previously copied Squadcast Webhook URL in the **Webhook URL** place holder and click on **Create**

That's it, you are good to go! Your Hydrozen integration is now complete.

Whenever Hydrozen fires an alert, an incident will be created in Squadcast for it. Once the tool sends an **OK** alert, it will automatically be resolved in Squadcast as well.
